Deals and commission
From agreed price to paid commission, on one record.
Deals carry their parties, their approvals, their stage history and their commission calculation. Invoices, payments, receipts and refunds sit on the same record.
Clix manages deals with their parties, approval chain and full stage history. Commission is calculated from configurable commission plans and rules, and the calculation is snapshotted at the point it is agreed so later plan changes cannot alter a closed deal. Invoices, payments, receipts and refunds are handled on the deal record.
The deal and everyone in it
A transaction has more than two sides: buyer, seller, both agents, sometimes a second brokerage, sometimes a referrer. Parties are recorded on the deal, which is what makes the commission split calculable rather than negotiated again at payout.
- Parties with their role on the deal
- Approval chain with who approved what
- Full stage history with timestamps
- Documents attached to the deal

Commission that cannot be rewritten
Commission plans and rules are configurable, and the resulting calculation is snapshotted when the deal is agreed. Changing the plan next quarter does not silently change what a closed deal owed, which is the failure mode of calculating commission live every time somebody opens the record.
- Commission plans per team or agent
- Rules for splits and referrals
- Snapshot taken at agreement
- Historic deals unaffected by plan changes

Money, on the record
Invoices raised, payments received, receipts issued and refunds processed all sit on the deal rather than in a separate finance thread that has to be reconciled by hand.
